Liquor Laws
As licensed by the State of Utah Liquor Commission,
The City Club is a "Private Club For Members".

Annual dues are $12.00, which includes full membership privileges to The City Club and Brewskis Historic 25th. The latter is another club also located on the 200 block of Historic 25th Street.

Annual memberships allow a member to bring in as many guests as they like. Members and guests may order liquor, wine or beer without ordering food. (We don't know why you would want to do that though, as our food is Totally Fab) ...

Visitors to our establishment may purchase a Two Week Temporary Membership for $5.00. A Temporary Membership includes all the annual membership benefits with one exception:

A Temporary Membership only allows up to seven guests, but when the sponsoring member leaves the premise all of his guests must also exit or purchase another temporary membership.

We don't make laws folks, but we do have to abide by them.

bullet WARNING bullet

The consumption of alcoholic beverages purchased in this establishment may be hazardous to your health and the safety of others. Please, when you drink, THINK.

If at any time you feel the least bit intoxicated, please do not hesitate to ask for assistance. We were the first club to offer free, to and from, limousine service for our club members and guests.

Utah's liquor laws evolve

Asking each generation of the Utah Legislature to write or revise liquor laws is like asking cats to write and rewrite laws for dogs. They never make common sense, and they attempt to prohibit 'The People' from pursuing their happiness.

When Utah liquor laws become understandable, the Legislature, in their lack of wisdom, changes the laws again, at the expense of the Utah tax payer.

Perhaps the Utah State Legislature can take a cue from an old Roman:

CORRVPTISMA REPVBLICA PLVRIMAE LEGES
The more corrupt a republic is, the more laws exist

- - Tacitus, Annals III 27
